Is that could be the reason for this discharge ? Getting hardware checked is not the first option, as purchased from Rimweb member only & as we know there are no warranties on this handset.. faiqg 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2013 Today my Epic 4G fell down the stairs. The screen doesnt show anything, but the keypad lights were on. I opened the phone and found out that the springs and plastic around it from sliding mechanism broke. Also the flex cable is torn. Any chance of getting replacement and service done in India? nikhil010586 0 Report post Posted December 14, 2014 I have been struggling with CM11 on my Epic4G D700 for a few months now. 3G connectivity is lost as soon as I move from CM10 to CM11. There hasn't been a stable build for D700 yet, but I am assuming that data connectivity issue can be fixed via Baseband update. My phone shows S:D700.0.5S.FC09 as its current baseband version. faiqg 0 Report post Posted March 8, 2015 My EPIC is non-functional now. It fell and doesnt work anymore. I want to give it away to someone who would be interested in its spare parts. But before i do that, what precautions should i take to clean up the phone of any personal information? The current situation is that the phone doesnt start. When it is plugged into a computer, Removable Storage shows up in Windows Explorer but remains inaccessible. Is there something I can do to the hardware to clean up the memory?
