Just check the version in about page of software, it clearly mentions c****ed by a*******t Had it not been c****ed, it wouldn't have gone past the serial no. screen. I have the D2G v3.01 cr****d and the same thing happens with that also, it shows unregistered and ask for serial but I can use it normally with all features unlocked. For symbian why dont you try OVI maps, its free and for cities its good. For highways certtainly Ndrive is better. Extract the Files 3.) Install in PC 4.) Open the Sygic from Desktop 5.) Connect Mobile Using Data Cable (No Bluetooth or ActiveSync) in Mass Storage Mode and Install 6.) Open Sygic in Mobile 7.) Get the Device Code 8.) Copy the .mlm file from Mobile's Memory Card to your desktop (Can be found in MAP folder in Memory Card) 9.) Now I am using a HTC Hero with sygic navigation software... But comparing both I feel that the one I used in WM is better than that I'm using in Android, the user interface of map my india in WM was much better that it is in Sygic in Android... Thing were much simpler in Map My India Than it is in sygic... I used to use it very frequently in Touch pro now I dont feel like using it much in Android... The GPS used to lock on to the Touch Pro very quickly.... But on Hero it takes a while... Could not understand y? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
tarun_kabra 204 Report post Posted November 16, 2010 There is no comparison for both, TP is Windows Mobile Phone and whereas Hero is on Android. Also User interface differs from company to company, and user taste. For me, Garmin is best in navigation and I always wish that Garmin should be there for all android phones. Though I use Sygic on my Incredible due to its better coverage area, but UI of NDrive is better than Sygic. In your case, both the maps are provided by Map my India (Company) be it with Sygic navigation software on Android or MMI navigation software for windows Mobile. As far as the map coverage in concerned, both are the best based on there OS platform. MultiTask 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2011 Install .APK from here http://www.zshare.ne...940281962a04c4a Installation NDrive-10.1.15-androboost.apk 1 Install .apk 2 Run NDrive to create the NDrive folder on the phone and cancle any downloads! 3 Copy over maps you have downloaded before hand to folder SDcard/Ndrive/Maps. 4 Run NDrive again and download voice packs I will suggest Wifi as it will download 150 - 250 MB of data. Maps here Extract EXE and Copy the .map file to the folder Ndrive/Maps on your phone SD card Enjoy off line navigation. Hi This works great!
