deVil81 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2005 doesn't seem to work. there might be two reasons for it. 1. Ringtones are not of the proper format or size. I read somewhere that the sizes should be between 2 kb and 4 kb for most phones. 2. Reliance is blocking the download of such content and is only allowing to to view the text documents

MVP 3 Report post Posted January 10, 2005 hi, If reliance is blocking such access, then how come the ringtone download via sms is working?
deVil81 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2005 I don't know, maybe they have installed a firewall and are allowing you to download midi, jpg etc. files directly from RWORLD (their own server) and blocking such content from any other IP address. Its very easy actually.
StaticElectricity 8 Report post Posted January 11, 2005 that is a possibility that there are IP address checks. but what is sure is that reliance is not yet giving rintone/wallpaper download thru R-Surf what i mean is that either reliance is discarding the data connections/packets or that the borwser (in this case Jataayu browser) dosent or is not capable of accessing/modifying the Filesystem of the phone.
