Memorable Moments With Rimweb.in

Recommended Posts

Please share all your most rememberable moments in RIMWEB.in

I am starting with my own :

1. When HETAL used to do teasers by adding screenshots and applications covered in new ROM for windows and we all waiting anxiously for his post of the link :Riendo:

2. When SADIK imported MOGUL and it got stuck with customs..everybody was following him every second what he was doing calling him, smsing him about the status...thats was great moments in past time !!!

3. When SADIK told he wont program the Mogul and we have to do that and he granted permission for TECHIE ENCLAVE...He made us programmers..just like Ambani made the dream come true for local people about mobile..It was such a feeling..I programmed my MOGUL :Chulo:<_<

I joined in 2007

First interaction was with Sadikk for Palm 755p - that time he used to answer phone calls himself and guided stepwise, now he has a team

Some time in early 2008 - everyone was crazy for ESN n MIN - there were lot of queries how to get it that time some had non RUIM sets, that created more confusion.

and we got Mogul

2 phone with 1 MDN we felt like king...

I think next big thing was criteria for Buy/Sell forum and reorg. of Tech

Today forum has bulk purchasers of CDMA worshop......

Congrats Arun, and all much deserved friends....

I joined in 2005 after having problems with various data cards on linux. At that time Prof Prabhat (DAIICT Gandhinagar) used to be quite active in the data card - linux topics.

Then slowly i found the imported hand sets by Sadik sections and even though i hadn't ordered any mogul i also used to obsessively refresh the page during the Customs fiasco.

Finally bought a treo from sadik after which i became a little regular (read that as 'addicted') to this forum and have been trying to leave this bad habit since. :Sorprendido:

Big thanks to Arun for starting this amazing forum and to all the helpful experts like Muffy, Hetal, Sadik, DKaile, Hitesh, Honest, Genius, Tushar, Sumit, Kangadeepan.

Well My stint began here with a search for a Smartphone and I asked like a newbiw if I could use the Moto Q (Then available on TATA) for reliance.

Sadikk responded with a link for the Palm Treo 755 P. A bit apprehensive of technology shift from the Trusty Nokia 6275 (had owned 6265,6255, Gtran et al)I Bought the Treo 755P and I loved the ease of use of the Handset.

It was then I also learned of the idea of uploading PRls etc and Then Came Hitesh..... Man , This guy gave great service, Getting on TV and doing wonders with QPST,QXDM ...right in front of your eyes and he is one guy I have come to respect and I bought a couple of Sets from him, also I managed to win the race in grabbing A pixi from The Doc.

I m a regular visitor here and learn a lot where despite my Noobness, People do respond and help.I rarely share my minimal wisdom, but have gained a lot of Insight here

Kudos to Hitesh, Sadikk, Doc, Dhiraj, Hetal and others for keeping this forum Hot and Lovable....

I am now using a Pixi and daily get tempted to buy an Android device, Just waiting for sensible Data Plans from Reliance maybe with EVDO.

i joined rimweb in 2003. At that time reliance had just launched DAPO offer and was looting customers(Reliance to others free calling, but it was actually just 600mins) I was furious as i was also duped and was searching a medium to take out my frustration.

Thank god i joined rimweb

great site and good community

I thanks all those who started this medium at that time.

Thanx
