Sharp To Launch 3D Android In India

Sharp has announced that it is planning to launch its 3D Android phones in India, China and United States in December 2010 and January 2011.

Recently Sharp launched 3 different 3D Android phones in Japanese Market.

Two Android 3D smartphone "GALAPAGOS Softbank 003SH", and the "GALAPAGOS SoftBank 005SH" use 3D liquid crystal display to create a dynamic 3D effect that can be viewed without special glasses. This has been launched on Softbank Network in Japan.

Both are running Android 2.2. Other specs,

-3.8 Inch 800x480 Display ASV LCD

-1 Ghz Snapdragon Processor

-802.11 b/g WiFi

-Bluetooth 2.1+EDR

-microSDHC Slot

-Support for GSM/GPRS/EDGE and UMTS/HSDPA network

Most of the specs are same in both phone, major difference being camera and QWERT Keyboard.

Sharp GALAPAGOS 005SH is with 8 MP camera and a flip QWERTY Keyboard and compact 4way directional pad, whereas 003SH has 9.6 MP camera.

The 3rd 3D phone is LYNX 3D SH-03C which is launched on DOCOMO network.

When Docomo started 3G, I expected them to bring such nice handsets from Japan, but they disappointed me...

When the tariffs are in reach for rich people only, then why not they bring such rich handsets to India..?
