Honest 836 Report post Posted November 25, 2010 Opera Mobile 10.1 For Nokia Smartphones Goes Final Opera has released the final version of the 10.1 Mobile browser for all Nokia users with a Symbian Series 60 operating system. It uses the Carakan JavaScript engine, which also runs their desktop browser. The new mobile web browser introduces Geolocation which enables web services such as maps and travel applications to recognize your location to provide you with information you want. They’ve also added a few more features such as speed dial, tabbed browsing, Opera Link and password manager which helps in saving time by simply clicking the site you want to navigate to. Opera Turbo compression helps you speed up your browsing, when your network speed gives way. The servers shrink webpages to 20 percent of their original size, so you can access the page faster and reduce your data costs. Opera Mobile fine-tunes the look and feel of your browsing with kinetic scrolling, a virtual keyboard and auto-rotation to landscape. It’s available for users having smartphones based on Symbian^3, and Symbian S60 3rd and 5th editions. It’s available on their site for free. Finally some respite for Nokia users who were facing problems while browsing. Courtesy : Tech2
