ami1 237 Report post Posted January 12, 2011 (edited) Ok, i think there is definitely a big doubt about RGSM quality. Good idea to try with a new sim/no for some days before deciding. Thanks Everyon. Was hoping if the service is good I can shift to BB Torch on RGSM 3G. But i think i am stuck with RCDMA. Edited January 12, 2011 by ami1

raccoon 53 Report post Posted January 12, 2011 Ok, i think there is definitely a big doubt about RGSM quality. Good idea to try with a new sim/no for some days before deciding. Thanks Everyon. Was hoping if the service is good I can shift to BB Torch on RGSM 3G. But i think i am stuck with RCDMA. Beware of even doing that! The network is NOT consistent. Sometimes it works ok other times it can be totally unusable. Just at my residence, at the same places, I have seen signal intensity going from max for a few weeks and then barely 2 bars later. Sometimes it just jumps around every few seconds!! No consistency at all. An Idea can change yr life...!! hai na sirjee Idea rocks in rest of Maharashtra & Goa. Network is VERY consistent. I'v been told they have improved a lot in Bombay now (they are new in Bom). Not experienced any cheating till date. Only issue can be the tariffs...

ashish_1985 13 Report post Posted January 12, 2011 Sorry, may be a little offtopic, but: Anyone has experience with Reliance GSM in Mumbai ? I am thinking of shifting from RCDMA to RGSM (can't shift to non reliance nos) mainly so that I can get benefit of simultaneous Data+Voice on 3G (and leave imported handset hassles of cdma) Is RGSM service OK ? Anyone using it here ? I would not recommend you to use reliance GSM,poor network especialy in local trains, not experienced by me but one of my family member is using it.
