rajanmehta 4,056 Report post Posted November 30, 2010 After trumpeting about its sales of over a million Google Android Froyo laden LG Optimus One P500, the company is reportedly working on high-end smartphone. Berryjuice, a member of Phandroid forums posted about possessing two upcoming LG Star handsets running Android 2.2 Froyo and houses Nvidia Tegra 2 SoC processor. He also posted images of the LG Star P990 running Froyo with a custom interface. LG Star P660 would be a totally different from the other high-end handset in the star family. With Tegra 2 running on it, the handset outperformed even Nexus One, with Froyo scoring 1759 in the Quadrant benchmark. Berryjuice hasn't really figured out the details of the handset, but here's what he could confirm. 4-inch Capacitive touchscreen offering 480x800 pixel resolution Dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 Chip inside 8 megapixel camera with LED Flash and capable of 1080p HD video recording Out of the box DivX playback HDMI Port In terms of benchmarks and other features this smartphone easily surpasses Samsung Galaxy S. May be it would be a worthy competitor to the rumored Nexus S smartphone. Techtree

satishdave 2 Report post Posted December 16, 2010 a year before i use to think that, Iphone was much bigger in size... Already Epic itself is quite big compared to incredible & iphone, epic is optimum in size & on average handsize its..last size to easily carry on, (atleast for me ) any thing bigger than this might be much hard to carry like this one above & also this one lacks Qwerty keypad, but the Dual core speeds as shown in the vid.....Very impressive
dkaile 1,051 Report post Posted December 17, 2010 LG Star will be smaller (in thickness) than epic and hence easily portable; it can be the first phone from lg to really challenge samsung and htc in the android field; like its optimus one is doing in the small budget section;
