Honest 836 Report post Posted December 3, 2010 Google launches Chrome 8 ! Comes with Built-in PDF Reader !! By now I'm sure most of you are pretty familiar with Google’s browser, Chrome . If not, now's your chance to try it out. This new browser doesn’t quite have a new “look” (the old one looks good enough!) but Google Chrome Releases claims that the new web browser has a PDF reader built-in and will be the first version capable of using the web app store. The PDF reader works fine, and has 4 tools of viewing the page horizontally or vertically. There are also two more options of zooming in and zooming out of the page. All of them work well, at least in this version. The Chrome web store has only been mentioned and there are no more indications of when exactly can we start using these apps. We’re obviously waiting for the web apps with baited breath. There are also around 800 bugs fixed with the new beta version release. Some of them are mentioned at Google Chrome Releases. You can download the latest version of Google Chrome from here. Do let us know how it's working for you in the comments section below.
