"Huawei S7 is designed different from our competitors, so the S7 is not a tablet PC works only Android but he's also phone functions well," said Hadi Hardiana Syamsudin, Product Marketing Manager of Huawei at ICS 2010 event in Jakarta.

The specifications of the S7 is a big list indeed with Android OS version 2.1, capacitive screens with a width of 7 inches WVGA 800x480 pixel, trackpad, 1.3MP front facing camera, gravity sensor, Bluetooth 2.1, Micro USB 2.0, Wi-fi, Hi-fi speakers, 3.5 mm audio jack, 8GB Internal Memory up to 32GB support, and the sim card slot. This device uses Qualcomm's Snapdragon processor.

Huawei S7 also features a multimedia application that is a media player and photo browser. It can also connect directly to your TV via HDMI and be used for the eBooks as well.

Some folks have been disappointed to find that the version currently available in the US and Europe has a resistive touchscreen display, which reacts better to a stylus of fingernail than a fingertip — making some Android apps and functions harder to use than they would be on a screen with a capacitive touch panel.

Now it looks like Huawei may be preparing to bring a version of the S7 tablet to market with a capacitive display. Unfortunately there is no word on pricing or availability yet, although I suspect the capacitive version will cost at least a little more than the resistive version, since the display technology is a bit pricier :GirandoOjos:
