Problem Using Netconnect On Dell Inspiron Mini 1210

i bought a netconnect modem today. i have a dell inspiron mini 1210 netbook.the problem is in order to activate the connection i have to fill in the username and password fields.but due to the small screen i cant see the username and password fields.i'm not able to fill it and activate.can anyone help me.now in using it in friends laptop.
