Swype has announced a new beta version making it publicly available for all android users to download. Head over here http://beta.swype.com/ Register and Download. Important Points If your phone came pre-installed with Swype,DO NOT download this beta (it won't work). This beta version will expire after 3 months. The beta software supports phones with HVGA (480h x 320w), WVGA (800h x 480w) and WVGA854(854h x 480w) screen sizes. You can only use your account to install the beta on 2 different devices. The beta is open to all phones using Android which DO NOT already have Swype pre-installed by the phone manufacturer/carrier. Additionally, you must be able to install 3rd party applications from non-Market sources. After registering, you will be emailed a link to the Swype Beta Installer. ami1 237 Report post Posted December 22, 2010 Works perfectly fine on my chinese iPad clone (haiPAD). Once you have swyped on all the characters it shows the word in the text input field (or suggestions sometimes). It doesn't show each character pop up as you swype. Is that what you mean ? However, If you type characters one by one then it shows them one by one in pop ups. Holding a character types the alternate character. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
