If you really use phone for Looooooooooooong talks. Dont go for Android phones except Samsung Fascinate or Epic . In my opinion non official BB would be best for your kind a use.

Else LG phones are good for battery life.

For around 1K budget = LG 3540

for around 5K budget = BB 8830 used

around 7-8K budget = bb8830 / 8330

around 10K budget = htc mogul new , htc touch pro used , htc ozone

around 11-12K budget = bb 9330

above 15K = samsung epic, samsung fascinate, htc hero, htc incredible

Seems like nowadays CDMA has comparable number of handset options like GSM (well, almost -- atleast for this query)...

But when Hitesh ji introduces android foreign CDMA handsets with DORA (DataOptimised Rev. A <<Simply EV-DO Rev A>>) support, then we will have much better nice handset options than GSM (Android handsets)..

I am looking at making a group of 500 to 1000 members.. Have you tried this on the BB8830 ? Also is it still available in the Market or discontinued. ?

Regards,

Amin

hitesh bhai, hetal's software is no more available on the forum after he handed over the source code to some third party.. :NOTriste: also, to the best of my knowledge, his software supports only Huawei EC325, all three booked by someone from supernova's deal.. :)
