Arun 795 Report post Posted December 25, 2010 It can't be configured as a wifi router, but if you have Windows 7 then you can turn your PC/latop into a wifi hotspot:
rajanmehta 4,056 Report post Posted December 25, 2010 Another option if you want to use USB Broadband Modem directly to create a Wi-Fi network without PC/Laptop is to buy a device like this http://cgi.ebay.in/w...em=170580356504

Greatest 55 Report post Posted December 26, 2010 @ SUresh, Aalok and Rajan (Thats an awesome device there mate... thanks for sharing) has provided an awesome excerpt.. You can go for those.. You can even look for a product from 'SAPIDO', they also have similar products from Taiwan.. check out ebay.com and you shall not be disappointed.. I recollect also, that Shripal is selling a similar router, which can take in usb modem and share it over wifi.. its one of the best..

kesav 127 Report post Posted December 27, 2010 (edited) You can also think about this... http://www.olivetelecom.in/olive-nexus-vr9-wireless-router/ But if you ask me for opinion, my preference is with A device which gives inter-interoperability at SIM level rather than at USB modem level. Why should I pay for 2 devices when 1 device can accomplish the job? Only one issue with this device at the moment is it supports only GSM & HSDPA . It does not support 1x, EVDO, LTE or WiMAX. anandjm 3 Report post Posted December 28, 2010 The ASUS RT-N13U with B1 revision for 3G data cards is a good option since it does support a number of 3G data cards which are listed http://event.asus.com/2009/networks/3gsupport/ . You will need to specifically look for the B1 revision as earlier revisions do not support 3G data cards.
