Subscriber base data as on 31st october 2010.

Bharti(Airtel) --> 3232342(WI) + 146,293,078(WL) = 149525420

Reliance --> 1211434(WI) + 119351438(WL) = 120562872

Vodafone --> 118,038,168(WL) = 118038168

MTNL+BSNL --> 3,471,438(MTNL-WI) + 5,342,039(MTNL-WL) + 26044923(BSNL-WI) + 80739935(BSNL-WL) = 115598335

TATA --> 1247827(WI) + 80,817,298(WL) = 82065125

IDEA --> 76,023,551(WL) = 76023551

Aircel --> 47,519,629(WL) = 47519629

WI --> Wireline

WL --> Wireless

The leaders in the subscriber additions for the month of october are Airtel, Vodafone, Uninor, PSUs(BSNL+MTNL), Reliance, Idea, TATA, Videocon and Aircel in that order.

The overall teledensity is at 62.51

Key Changes

1) BSNL & TATA breaches past 80 million mark in wireless subscriber count

2) Airtel & Vodafone comes back to 1st and 2nd position

3) Videocon's performance is better than Aircel

4) BSNL is inching closer to TATA's wireless count. BSNL has good chance of regaining its no. 4 position in wireless segment

expect BSNL for anything.. thats the only reason why i didn't dump my 7+ years old BSNL prepaid no. on which am enjoying 3G nowadays..
