rajanmehta 4,056 Report post Posted February 6, 2013 My primary number is with R- CDMA (postpaid) for past ~7 years.Recently when I wanted to move to some other network 'cos of network issues, they said they are seeking permission from higher authority to install an antenna (don't know technical name) at my place And you seriously believe that? They tell the same thing to many but don't do anything afterwards. It's a standard retention technique to calm down the customer!

@ksh@T 20 Report post Posted June 18, 2013 I have had faced somewhat different... I sent out my Port request on 8-6-13 and till 15-6-13 didnt received any call from reliance and then filled Port Form of Vodafone and today got my Number Ported to VodaFone. Simply no correspondence from Reliance. I was 10-11 Years old Customer with almost average monthly Billing of Rs.1000 + ... Reasons to port Out: 1) Both of Handsets of mine were Reliance CDMA. Couldnt use my primary number to S3 thus ported, otherwise was very happy with RCDMA

dnjkane 0 Report post Posted June 27, 2013 I had an experience very similar to this. There was only a confirmation call once. Then, there was no notification of any kind from RiM regarding porting out request or date of porting. Four days after submitting the request, my number was ported out. I realized it only when my RiM number was no longer working. I have had faced somewhat different... I sent out my Port request on 8-6-13 and till 15-6-13 didnt received any call from reliance and then filled Port Form of Vodafone and today got my Number Ported to VodaFone. puneet_july30 36 Report post Posted July 29, 2013 I got a very funny response from Vodafone when I requested to port out. Their CCE called me and when I complained that I didn't get proper network in my inside my house and in neighborhood too, this gentleman offered me - Sir please don't port out I will activate free "MCA" service on your number. I asked what is this MCA and he told me sir it is Missed Call Alert service . How lame of Vodafone. I have been complaining since last 6 months and getting no response from them. Tata Vodafone ----> Airtel here I come.
LandyaBhai 8 Report post Posted July 29, 2013 These plans were offered for one of my cdma and other gsm no, I could choose either plans. Winayakpai, reliance has no concern about its customer forget trai guidlines,We were into simple 99 where outgoing and incoming during roaming was 0.50 but suddenly may 2013 onwards the call rates were changed bill shot up 3 times, mails to cc and nodal officer had only one reply that the bills were according to tarrif and there can be no consideration of the bill amount from reliance. But they never replied to my question as to why the tarif was changed without my consent ? I never heard operators changing tariff for existing customers on their own. @LandyaBhai (Refer post 295) Is reliance immune to TRAI regulations?
