Problems with MMS

when i send any mms from outlook it give me following error

Task 'ashish-sending' reported error (0x800CCC69) :'unknown Error 0x800CCC69

please help me to solve this problem.

hi all

i am not able to read MMS... it connects to the server, shows me listin of the MMS but when i tyr to open it, it keeps giving me the wait icon..

ny1 facin the same prob?

till yest afternoon it was wrking fine..

Well, MMS often has this problem. Wait for some time (maybe days) for it to get resolved by Reliance.

My problem is solved.

there is a problem in my computer i.e. in my computer a firewall is installed.

so i remove this firewall.

now i can send mms from outlook.

from your yahoo mail or hotmail , go to compose mail -.

in To: wrtie 9193XXX XXXXX@mms.ricmail.com

attacth the mid file and click send

its worx

Hi,

I have a LG 6130. I have setupthe 1stSMTP server and am able to send MMS to my mobile. But the MMS comes in as a service message from 2241. When I try to run the MMS, it gives the response "RWorld not ready".

If I send this message to a friends 6130, it goes perfectly (as an MMS). I can then receive the MMS when the friend forwards it to me. But the same MMS does not come directly to my mobile.

The same thing also happens when I get an MMS from a 2030.

Any idea asto why this happens? :P

Hey CAD,

I have already tried resetting the R-Menu multiple times. No use.

I can go to a service centre to get the software reburnt, but is there any other way.

Also, can someone tell me what could be the latest software version for a LG 6130

hey

i dont think so there is any othr option... this is a common prob with fone... the s/w gives prob with R world every now n then... dunno y... remember... u will loose all ur mssgs n settings n ringtones... in short everything except phone book...

hi even i have the same problem with lg 6130 and two of my friends too.... when they recieve an mms from another handset other thatn 6130 of mail server we will get same error r-world not ready but mms from another 6130 works perfectly..... when mms from another 6130 is recieved we get mms in native inbox which asks us to connect to retrieve the mms......... but when mms is recieved from another handset of mail server we get an sms asking us to run which goes to r world and later gives r-world not ready error.................. CANT ANY ONE HELP?????? :P:confuse::angry::angry::ph34r::wacko:

hey,

i raised this issue with Reliance Customer Care or call centre at *333. It seems that this could be a config issue at their end. They plan to get back to me in 48 hrs. (Hopefully) If I get some useful info, will let u all know

how are u planing to send the tones.....

if through mail or handset other than 6130 send it to 09341246326

then i complained to RIM through ONLINE & this is what they replied to me:-

National Operators

* Bharti - India

* Idea - India

* MTNL (MUM) - India

International Operators

* Cellcom - Malaysia

* Telestra - Australia

* Starhub - Singapore

* China Mobile - China

* China Unicom - China

Sending of MMS to all non Reliance mobiles (National or International) requires to add country code (E.g 91) at the start of the receiver's mobile no. For e.g. Receiver's mobile no. Should be 919820248687. No additional 'zeros' or '+' signs are required to be added.

But even though i am unable to SEND or RECEIVE MMS from Other Operator...
