dpak 2 Report post Posted February 3, 2011 Dear Members, please help me i am little confused i am planning to purchase one android phone the problem is i use 2 CDMA connection TATA & MTS(delhi-ncr circle) after reading this forum i came to know that there are lots of cdma android handsets are available. suggest me 2-3 good handset from which i can choose My requirements are 1.Latest software possibly froyo 2.2 2.Fully working evdo on my handset. 3.Budget 15K TO 19K. my concerns what about warranty part if something goes wrong? rajanmehta 4,056 Report post Posted February 5, 2011 AFAIK none of the sellers are offering TATA Indicom activation on imported CDMA handsets due to it's Policy Change and it's extremely difficult to do so now.. MTS Activation with EVDO is offerred but right now only in Mumbai, Maharashtra & Goa. So that leaves Reliance CDMA....If you intend to switch to it to Enjoy Imported Handset with EVDO, Samsung Epic & Samsung Fascinate both are very good Android Handsets.. And they are available here... For Sale: Samsung EPIC - Rs. 18800 - EVDO and HCC Enabled - MEID Officially Registered 4 Sale Fascinate 19800 - Evdo / Hcc Enabled Both are Android 2.1 but Android 2.2 Official Upgrade is expected from Samsung. In case of Fascinate, leaked Official 2.2 Froyo update is already available. All this handsets are imported and so no Seller can offer any warranty...But countless people on RIMweb use it...Without any major problems whatsoever.. None of the imported handsets have SIM slots except Some Models having World Phone CDMA+GSM Function...Only 1 Can be used at a time though..
