hiteshkkk1 327 Report post Posted February 4, 2011 Hello friends... I am having problem with my LG - HS201 LED projector. Since last 8-10 days, there are white dots on projected image. I tried to clean the glass but no use. Also, the dots are dynamic. Means, when we start there are too many of them n that too black in colour n later on they become white. I am unable to understand the problem. The projector was brought from US so cant claim warranty. Does anybody has any idea of problem n solution?? I have attached some pics for reference. Thanks

xuketo 7 Report post Posted February 4, 2011 I have the same projector. Awesome machine. Touch-wood, no problems so far... [mine is a bit less than a year old]. I suspect it is either an issue with your cable/connector or because of overheating. You should check the following: - Did you remove the sticker (kind of transparent film) that cover the projector ? this blocks all the ventilation holes, and must be removed before the projector is used. Otherwise it will overheat and can cause such problems. - Did you check for other signs of overheating? - Do the dots still appear when you have the on-screen-menu open ? Or when you play video from USB drive? If no, then maybe you have a faulty cable/connector. hope that helps.

gtvilela 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2011 Hello, I'm having the same problem with my LG HS201. What I can tell about the problem is that I notice that there is something to do with overheating. When I turn it on, everithing is normal, and with time the black and white pixels start to appear, begining in the right side of the screen and then going to center and left. The fan is working but it gets hot. If I shut down and wait some minutes, the image became normal again, but it starts to heat and the pixel problems came back. Do you get to solve your problem with the projector? Wich was the cause? Thanks, Gabriel
