Karthik R 246 Report post Posted April 6, 2011 Are there any applications, wifi, bluetooth, data connection running in the background? How is the network strength at your place. (Although largely out of the individual user’s control, your phone's signal strength greatly affects standby time. If your phone is out of service, or has a very weak or intermittent signal, it is forever trying to establish a new or better one, meaning its using lots more power than if the signal is at full strength.) raccoon 53 Report post Posted April 6, 2011 To a small extent it is in user control. If signal strength is weak, try to find a spot where the strength is relatively stronger. Avoid keeping it in cases/pouches. Keep it vertical. It will help to some extent.
