hiteshkkk1 327 Report post Posted April 8, 2011 Nokia 6275 is cdma 1x phone n 3g aka evdo will not work on it. You have to choose new omh base phones from Samsung or lg which support evdo for using 3g. Sent from my GT-I5700 using Tapatalk
Karthik R 246 Report post Posted April 8, 2011 Nokia 6275 is only a 1x data capabale phone i.e it supports data speeds peaking at 144 kbps (in practice speed hovers around 60-80 kbps). EVDO is the CDMA counterpart of 3G data transmission and supports downlink speed upto 2.4Mbps (Rev.0) or 3.1Mbps (Rev.A). You need to go in for handsets like Samsung galaxy Pop, Corby TV, Mpower txt M369, Lg cookie 510, Lg 6300 to enjoy EVDO speeds.

This 3G question popped up in my mind when i saw an 'icon' in Settings--->Phone details----> Icon details section which say it is 3G icon. Can anybody clarify this for me please? -Hussain
