arnab_g 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2011 It's really surprising that Voda (dumbo in Bengali) - such a big company ... giving wrong info, no info or confusing info about their 3G plan charges. Few of my friends are using 499+tax unlimited 3G plan (postpaid) in Kolkata. But there is no mention at their website and also customer care .. saying "Yes" and "No" periodically!! Anyone having any idea about unlimited 3G plan of Voda? Also if you can write what unlimited (or reasonable) 3G plan you like most in Kolkata. Thanks in advance
rajanmehta 4,056 Report post Posted April 22, 2011 Are you sure they are using only for Rs 499, Unlimited 3G & that too postpaid & that too from Vodafone? Looks totally unbelievable or some misunderstanding to me... And why aren't you asking your friends who are using such plan, how did they get one in the first place? Get the details from them & post detailed info here for everyone's benefit (If there is actually any!!!)
arnab_g 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2011 Yes, I am sure. My friend said he got sms from vodafone and opted for it. When I asked customer care they said "yes" once .... later said "no" ... so I am confused and asking here! I hope someone would be able to provide some clear answer
inception 75 Report post Posted April 23, 2011 well Vodafone 2G data plans r often giving 3G speed. But that's on postpaid only. On prepaid Vodafone s**ks bigtime, u cant use 3G netwrk unless u recharge with any 3G data pack - u cnt even make a video calls!

inception 75 Report post Posted August 13, 2011 I like to put some info regarding this plans. I am not sure about Vodafone, but Idea caps bandwidth @256kbps for all netsetter users and these SIMs can be registered on 3G network (idea/vodafone/airtel via intra & inter circle roaming agreement). So in Kolkata I can enjoy 256kbps unlimited @ Rs 399 with Idea N/S plan.

inception 75 Report post Posted August 15, 2011 Vodafone Netcruise is a wireless broadband services based on MTS EVDO network, currently running as a pilot project in selected cities. Netcruise tariffs are higher than MTS MBlaze tariffs. I would like to say better go for open, unlocked 3G/HSPA modem and use any 3G/HSPA operator.
