ami1 237 Report post Posted December 28, 2015 Getting around 40-50Mbps with Airtel 4G in Bandra to Andheri, Mumbai. However, one irritating problem is that if a call comes in or I make a call, it switches to 3G and then doesn't go back to 4G for quite some time. (at least on iPhone 6). I have to reset radio to get back to 4G quickly. Are others facing this issue too ? or is it specific to iPhone 6.
phonegeek 588 Report post Posted December 28, 2015 Seems its specific issue with your phone or may be with all the iPhone. I am using 4g on one plus two and it switches back to 4g after call. Sent from my ONE A2003 using Tapatalk

KanagaDeepan 1,084 Report post Posted December 28, 2015 [1] I think Airtel has 5 MHz of liberated spectrum usable for 4G in 1800 MHz band 3. [2] It also has unpaired 20MHz of spectrum in 2300MHz for band 40 4G lte. [3] Currently Airtel is also using 5MHz of 900MHz frequency for 3G {platinum 3G as they say} now which can anyday be changed to give 4G lte services on band 8. sent from my Lenovo Vibe P1 using Tapatalk
