copperco2 24 Report post Posted April 27, 2008 when did you buy 2112 for 5500/-, i remember to have bought it for 3000/- a new one. Thats not an issue here.. but can you tell me the steps you have taken to install the CA 42 drivers.. I may recall the steps i have taken to install the necessary software.. 1. insert the CD that comes with CA 42. 2. Follow the instructions to set up your internet connection. 1. Go to Network connections 2. new connection wizard 3. connect to internet 4. set up my connection manually 5. Enter your details like phone number and password.. and connect to internet. If the modem has not been activated then you have to call CC and activate it.. It will not work if the modem is not activated.. Do let me know the feedback. I have been talking to Reliance CC and then I received an SMS saying that my request has been registered and my modem will be activated. When I called them again, they said that, if my SMS facility is working, then my data facility, that is, modem also should be working. Beyond this, I am not able to get help.
