wastedtime 0 Report post Posted February 13, 2005 I've been using sify broadband for about 2 months now.I am using a 96Kbps UNLIMITED plan @995 Rs and what i have been observing is that sify caps of my speeds to about 40-48 Kbps after i download in excess of 100MB per day. The sify customer care executive in mumbai also agreed that sify was capping my speeds . Have anyone of u guys also experienced such underhand tactics from sify. mitul_mehta 0 Report post Posted February 13, 2005 (edited) HI! The Unlimited Packs are not unlimited. Previously the cap was of 75 MB per day now they have increased to 150 MB but no where do they mention it while buying the pack. I have complained to the manager but no response from anyone. According to them why does a home user require to download so much data. Just to tell you i have been using this service since 3 years, initially they would charge 999 bucks for 128 kbps pure unlimted, 24 hours. After some time they called up people around 100 ( they made a list) and said stop downloading, our bandwidth is choked please take ur money back. Which ISP in the world does that? ****ers.
