Have you checked this one? http://www.enjayworld.com/

This guy was among the first to launch thin clients in India.

Many different type of models available. He is geeky type self made i suppose. Prices may be lower than MNC brands & some knowledge with India specific usage solutions. Heard that they have supplied to many places for typical use like tally, excel etc.

visit old computer selling shop, buy P-1 systems without HDD,

Buy just P-1 CPU with Main board = 100Rs

64mb ram = 50Rs

Cabinet = 100Rs

LCD = start from 3-4K new

Keyboard mouse = 350Rs

PCI Lan card = 50rs (Flash boot rom)

Lay CAT5e cable all over the place

and you are done !

Or just buy Intel Dot Stations PC for 5K each and you get everything !

something like this http://cgi.ebay.in/Intel-Dot-Station-PC-Pentium-III-/300566155799?pt=IN_Desktop_PCs&hash=item45fb239217

Off Topic ;)

Lol...laughing at the word use "diskless" in the subject line.. reminded me of similar sounding word :)

When the outsourcing was new to India and Dell's back office employees use to receive calls from american clients, CC employee used the word "hard disk" when taking to American, american were amazed and felt offensive (primarily coz of accent), hence Dell instructed their employees to used "hard drive" instead of "hard disk" :)
