Unfortunately, I use MTS only and not RCOM or TI for that matter. And my usage is mostly in Chennai only. Or maybe the top metros. As far as interiors are concerned, I believe Kanaga Deepan should be able to help out pasu. In Chennai, the MTS network is good but the speeds are not all that encouraging and there are ups and downs. SPEED + CHEAP Tariff:- Ganesan sir, in Sivakasi MTS rocks (even comparing RCom NetConnect+)... I am getting speeds upto 2Mbps max almost everytime... They are having more EVDO towers than RCom and TATA... Please use "Broadband Mode" and avoid using "Hybrid mode" while NOT in move, as you may get lesser speeds... Even while travelling in train, I use "1x mode" than "Hybrid Mode"... COVERAGE:- So reg speed, MTS is good... But when it comes to coverage, RCom is the king... I think our VNR district is almost having BLANKET_COVERAGE of RCom EVDO... Even BSNL is poor when comparing EVDO coverage of RCom in TN.... GREAT SPEED + CHEAP Tariff + ZERO_RELIABILITY:- BSNL 3G and EVDO... No more words are needed to explain why... 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

KanagaDeepan 1,084 Report post Posted July 6, 2011 Obviously NOT everytime/everywhere... But in my hometown, I have never got low speeds like 800kbps or 1Mbps ... Minimum I am getting 1.5Mbps speeds... May be due to very few users in my area... But in my friends home (very near to tower) he always get around 600 to 800 kbps speed only... pasumark 51 Report post Posted July 14, 2011 I have purchased Reliance Broadband Netconnect+. I am very happy with the performance. Last week I was in Ramnad(TN) and the speed was good. And this week I was travelling to Chennai in car and at 2 places I needed to randomly stop my car and connect to net. At one place it connected in full speed and in another in 1X speed.
