Ohh, no bootloader, does any usb detection takes place? Try to run any ruu, if you have but I doubt that too need hboot. But you can try. I will find info for it. snorlax 319 Report post Posted February 26, 2012 i observed something unexpected on my evo 3d... my handset was not catching wifi signals which were detected by HTC EVO 4G!!! I thot evo 3D was the SUCCESSOR The REAL SHOCKER: wifi signals were even detected by sub 6k phones like samsung corby2 and samsung star 2!!!!!!!! wen i went closer to the router, signal was caught by my EVO 3D...but.... any troubleshooting or advice shall be highly welcome... Second, yes it is successor of evo and it is much better than corby, etc. Third, you even didnt mentioned any details and you are expecting us to help you! You left the sentence at but.....where you mentioned that you got some signals, why? What error you got? Dont take it personally but there are ways to get help but not this way for sure. snorlax 319 Report post Posted February 27, 2012 ^^^ actually first i posted in d review for HTC EVO 3D but then realised if i need help then should start a new thread... apologies... n the issue i faced was that at a distance where 3 phones(EVO 4G, Samsung Corby 2 and Samsung Star 2) were detecting wifi signals , HTC EVO 3D was not!!! after coming klose to the router it was detecting signals and working properly... i wanted help if my EVO 3D would also detect signals at the distance where other 3 phones could... if there could b some tweak or software for the same...
