alam 0 Report post Posted February 22, 2005 I'm using FWP (LG-LSP 340E on COM port). Sometimes, the phone goes "Out of Service Area" and then comes back in the service area almost immediately. RConnect gets disconnected, and wont reconnect because "modem is responding or port is busy". Only solution is to restart, and it gets quite frustrating. Anybody with a solution? ashras99 0 Report post Posted February 22, 2005 I think you are using Windows 98 and if not then please run "sfc /scannow" in Command prompt and replace any corrupted file with Windows Installation CD. Hope this will solve your problem. I am also facing Out of service area/Disconnect problem but ,y computer never shows port busy error. In my system Windows XP Pro SP1 is installed.
