deepu 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2005 Game shows won't be the television's forte anymore as Indiagames, a mobile content developer, has come up with the first interactive mobile game show. Vishal Gondal, chief executive officer of Indiagames told Business Standard, "This will be the first original content ever developed for the wireless platform. It will be a 24X7 online mobile game, across all platforms and can be played on SMS, WAP or JAVA." Television actress and anchor Mandira Bedi has been roped in to host this show. The game would be launched in March 2005. Although the modalities of the game are not very clear, it will be similar to some of the popular game shows on television channels. Gondal said he was in talks with telecom operators to fix the subscription price for this game. Indiagames will also offer wallpapers, themes and screensavers on Mandira Bedi and the game. Gondal said the game would be a departure for his company that has developed games based on television show 'Indian Idol', which is currently being aired on SET and other film-based mobile games like Jurassic Park, Garfield and Spykids. Gondal plans to focus on developing several such original games for the mobile once the first one is released.
