Chirag 5 Report post Posted February 25, 2005 If u know who is StaticElectricity on this forum, u shud get in touch wid him. when i met him personally the first time, he showed me a small (mini) FM broadcasting system that he had made in his 8th Std(Now he is in 1st yr of Engg). He actually showed me that and we used it to broadcast stuff from that small mic he had, and i could hear his voice on my Radio System at a specific Mhz. Radio Broadcasting involves Licensing from the govt. Moreover to broadcast songs, u also need telecast rights from the music companies! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

MP3 is illegal but Radio is not. You need to have an FM Transmitter which are easly available. But local rules do apply, and as far as i know u need to inform them, no license is needed. rahuldevnath 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2005 We cannot transmit MP3's legally, we can only transmit legal Audio, and that's Cassets and CDs. Though anyway it will come 76Kbps for FM.
