Meherab 2 Report post Posted August 14, 2011 just reading the spec. you cannot use 3g on gsm correct. So if u need the full experience u will need the cdma. There should be something in which u can use the 3g in cdma and gsm
Karthik R 246 Report post Posted August 14, 2011 ^ ^ 3G with GSM is possible in this device as it works on the UMTS frequency band of 850, 1900, 2100 Mhz and Indian telecom operators are offering 3G data services on the 2100 Mhz band. You must have read the specs in gsmarena
Meherab 2 Report post Posted August 14, 2011 you bet i did so then if it would work they would have mentioned na 3g in xyz frequency. They mention 3g only in cdma. Have u tried it in gsm
parin 857 Report post Posted August 14, 2011 Farook has already confirmed 3G working on his Mobile (Check the 1st post) so no point of arguing Also Specs tell the same 3G will work
farookh 13 Report post Posted August 14, 2011 (edited) 3g works just fine, infact i tried both with vodafone and my old MTNL 3g sim, this is MTNL 3g speedtest. Phone is now rooted, unlocked bootloader is on its way at xda so this phone is going to be a lot of fun. Edited August 14, 2011 by farookh
