mroy 1 Report post Posted August 17, 2011 A strange problem has occurred. My Nokia 6275 has gone all silent. It is not ringing, no message tones, nothing. Keypad tones are audible. Before anyone suggests it, I have checked that my phone is not in silent mode. Any suggestions?

krishin.rajani 3 Report post Posted August 17, 2011 Just check if you see the h/f sign even after removing the h/f. If yes, you need to replace the h/f socket...

mroy 1 Report post Posted August 26, 2011 While I was trying to find a local mobile repair shop, my mobile's speaker came to life all by itself and is working perfectly now. Madhabi

mroy 1 Report post Posted August 29, 2011 If speaker is faulty then how can you hear keypad tones as per your first post I don't know what the fault was - as per the original post, I could not hear ringtone (for incoming calls or while trying to change ringtones), message alert tones and alarm clock. Also, when a call was in progress, if I switched to speaker phone mode, there was no sound. Anyway, the problem has been solved and it is working fine now.
