All 3G operators except Reliance GSM have tied up for all India 3G roaming

Recommended Posts

Dear Friends

Sorry to tell you one more bad news about Reliance GSM .This is based on article of Outlook business sep. 17 issue

page no 14.

All 3G operators except reliance GSM have tied up for all india seamless roaming. One group

is Airtell ,Idea and Vodaphone together they have pan india presenence. Second group formed by DOCOMO

and Aircell they have 19 circles except Delhi and Mumbai ,For delhi and Mumbai they are tieing with MTNL

MTNL will have pan india presence thus.Unfortunatly nobody is tieing with Reliance GSM which has spectrum

in 13 circles only. Reliance GSM has only one option tie with BSNL

MTNL alreday has pan India 3G coverage via BSNL network - which is largest 3G coverage in India. MTNL will rent its spectrum for Tata docomo and Aircel.

dont know how u like mtnl..i threw tht sim next day itself whn it didnt let me connect to my own airtel no saying it was busy......dont know how tht company works up in ncr.....even bsnl is fed up coz one bsnl employee was attributing the low sale of sim cards to presence of mtnl in ncr region...

I use RCDMA for local/STD voice calls and SMS and MTNL for ISD, 3G video call and 3G data services. That way I get the best of both and at the cheapest possible cost.

Never had any problem with ISD, MTNL-BSNL 3G calls and 3G data services on my MTNL 3G SIM.

I heard, by end of Sep-2011 Reliance would be launching their services in PAN India with tie agreement between Aircel, BSNL and MTNL.

Yes, MTNL has interesting ISD rates. It's good to have an MTNL connection for ISD calls. I think it allows same ISD tariff on national roaming also.
