digitalnirvana 646 Report post Posted September 23, 2011 Hetal bhai, What will happen to existing packs and customers, will they be migrated to this plan. This 10p/10kb is very expensive compared to existing windows mobile plans and will further cause high ARPU customers to port.
rahuldixit2010 13 Report post Posted September 23, 2011 I hope they will bring new plan. As old voice plan still exist for post paid customer, the window plan will also exist. However, I hope the new plan will be better. 10p/10Kb may be normal unified rate plus several plans like 98rs for 1 GB/2GB
rajanmehta 4,056 Report post Posted September 23, 2011 If any of the rumours mentioned by the topic OP turn out to be true (Lol.. Will have to consider them as rumour till it fructifies.. It's Reliance after all and that too related to CDMA..), the strategy seems to drive up ARPU but at the same time do some long pending rationalization to give benefit to customers also. The way i am reading it, Keep Default Non Plan Subscribed Data Rate high to get more ARPU from such customers. Eliminate different barriers like NUC, Rworld, Netconnect and provide a range of uniform data plans, costly then GSM GPRS but still affordable compared to GSM 3G. This should motivate more subscribers who are currently not subscribing to any CDMA data plan to subscribe the plan of their choice. RComm gets fixed assured additional revenue and Customer their choice of high speed data plan. If done properly, this should be a win win for both CDMA customers and RComm. And when RComm is already providing unlimited prepaid EVDO for Rs 299 in Haryana Circle, it should be able to do this quite comfortably.

commonman 228 Report post Posted September 23, 2011 my MTNL 3G costs 1p/12KB. so I would stay with present 2 number scheme. MTNL 3G for data/video call/ISD. RCDMA for local/STD.
