I have heard that now sms packs (for new subscriber) doesn't work in roaming... is it true? Earlier there were 3 plans as mentioned below... Rpanday Knoema 0 Report post Posted January 29, 2012 I have a reliance gsm sim (Maharastra) circle and i am in bangalore. I just recharged with Rs. 14 sms pack and it didn't work for me. Sent two sms after recharge confirmation and both deducted 50p instead of 5p. So I think sms packs do not work on roaming. KumaarShah 143 Report post Posted June 12, 2012 Got a message on the Last Call Cost Notification on my Chennai prepaid RGSM about some new SMS pack which offers 3000 local and national SMS' for Rs 33, not too sure about roaming....Probably, RCOM has now joined the GSM Gangsters cartel, so they will also fleece you while roaming. And yes I am from Chennai, so no idea about the rest of the country. Check with CC for more info. And as usual, they will redirect you to visit the nearest WW for more news. pasumark 51 Report post Posted June 12, 2012 It seems RCOM is copying Aircel a lot in TN. Aircel also has Rs.33 voucher, which offers 3000 L & N SMS. Aircel has the Rs.79 voucher, which offers local onnet at 10p/min or 1/6p per sec - This voucher has also been launched by RCOM Also RCOM has tie up with Aircel to use Aircel towers where RGSM does not have coverage.
