---- END LOG ----

Check the STATUS of ZERG above, this exploit depends on a

condition which doesn't always hit

[-] Hellions with BLUE flames !

Means the EXPLOIT will NOT work on this version of the ROM.

However, if your ADB is rooted, the persistent root install MAY still work.

Check for additional errors in that section of the log.

[-] Zerglings did not leave interesting stuff

Means the exploit did NOT work during this pass

After reboot you'll need to RE-RUN the root install script

It may take SEVERAL attempts before the condition hits

[+] Rush did it ! It's a GG, man !

Means the exploit was SUCCESSFUL. Script will reboot, then you are DONE!

You must be running a wrong script, which version are you on and which option you are choosing in the exe to root the phone and install custom recovery?

Baseband version: SD710.10S.EL 29

Kernel: 2.6.35.7_SPH D710 EL 29_CL 852097

Hardware: D710..10

I have selected exe file lite version and just run it..and once it is extracted, select option A from the command prompt which is to install the root. Then it is auto rebooted.

Use speedtest app. If the ping is above 500, it's 1x.

The above mentioned step will disable the data when call comes in if you have evdo active on your phone.

My ICS OTA upgrade done last week is working smooth. Loving the new gmail upgrade.

I have following doubt..will beats audio and market unlock work without rooting the phone? I am using E4GT.

That is really bad. I am not able to root my phone ..meanwhile i want to thank Mr Saurabh(phonegeek) for taking his time and replying to my childish questions and guiding me throughout my ICS upgrade. Thank you this great forum as well and expecting all support in the future too..

Finally received the ICS update OTA. Took 10 minutes to update. Everything running flawless till now.

Maybe now I will skip S3 all together because this S2 is a gem of a phone...
