See if you compare hardware, Photon is Un-disputed winner.

If you compare them for World Phone features Incredible 2 is winner.

For Basic stock features & usability Incredible 2 is winner.

i agree with kapil. Feature wise both phones are world phones with 2.3GB. but if we have compare it then for sure photon is the winner with 4.3 inch display and dual core procy, tegra chipset and lots of other features. having said that both phones are good in their domains but photon is surely a step ahead of inc2.

Photon is the winner imho...

+ of DInc2:-

1) Universal-Phone

2) Sense [not much if we use Go or other launchers/locker/widgets in Photon]

3) light-weight

4) RGB display for purists

5) USSD support for GSM

+ of Photon:-

1) Future-proof DualCore processor and huge RAM (Hope for ICS high with Google's love for MotoMobility)

2) Big Screen (with Gorilla glass) and better resolution for browsing and videos

3) Kickstand + MX videoPlayer == superb video xp

4) Better battery life

5) Beauty (Unique and NOT looks same like other phones)

6) Huge Internal memory

7) Though comp. heavy, it feels nice in hand esp rubbery back (and built like a tank)

8) Good voice clarity (even for BSNL-2G) may be due to two-mics (active noise cancellation???) not sure...

-ve of Both:-

1) CAMERA quality...

2) No 3G video-calling...

Photon is definitely a winner.....Dinc 2 has been made a world phone ....It was not having compatibility to support ruim in stock rom while Photon is a world phone out of the box.

There is no second thought about photon being the best out of these. But I guess dinc2 is much more reliable as photon as the infamous reboot issue.

Incredible 2 supports 3G calling.

There are no software related issues with Inc 2.

And compare over price. Photon is 35-40% over priced than Incredible 2.

Example of our forum, Incredible 2 @ 13000/- Photon @ 18500/- Difference --- 5500/-.. Comes out to be 42% higher.

And compare software issues faced also, Like Mr. Rehman said about Reboot issue. While Incredible 2 has no known issues imho.

You cant compare handset without comparing the Prices.

And how about when you want to sell the Handset (Photon), buyer has to Program the handset again for DATA/EVDO. While no such issues with Incredible 2.

Incredible is an old model compared to Photon and thats the reason Photon is more expensive, coz the hardware is superior

i guess its price vs performance ratio factor on which person should choose a device.

before choosing a gadget every one should know the consumption appetite like e.g. how much hours you intent to spend with it?

its quite difficult to say winner clearly as both the phones belongs to different class according to their spec sheet.like apples can't be compared to bananas though they belong to same category called fruit.as per my understanding on paper specs wise photon is clearly a winner but as for as lay man usage is concerned incredible 2 beats photon with its "ease of use" in terms of dual network compatibility(world phone).

lastly nothing is perfect its all about advantages over disadvantages

Is it true?? Inc2 supports 3G Video calling??? Using the stock dialer or any other special s/w???

Why I am asking is I heard that most Android phones of USA (n/w provided) doesn't supports 3G-video calls (even AT&T Atrix as told by Parin ji)??? Please reply...

Does NOT support 3G Network based Video calling. Comes with Skype Mobile pre-installed for video calls. Sorry my mistake.

I would go for a HTC or a Samsung any day over any Motorola as on date.
