Already bought Endomondo, Paper Camera, Swift Key, Camera Zoom FX, Where is my Water during previous promo... I am already using Business Calendar Free. mgdelhi 192 Report post Posted September 26, 2012 Google Play hits 25 billion downloads (25 apps/movies/mags at 25 cents) ! Whether you’re looking for directions, checking email or sharing a picture with friends, apps are now an indispensable part of life. And if you’re using Android, it all starts with Google Play, home to 675,000 apps and games. That’s a lot of choice. We’ve now crossed 25 billion downloads from Google Play, and to celebrate we’re offering some great discounts for the next five days. Every day you’ll be able to choose from a collection of apps from some of the world’s top developers including Gameloft, Electronic Arts, Rovio, runtastic, Full Fat and more. And all for just 25 cents. We’ll also be offering some special collections like 25 movies you must own, 25 banned books, 25 albums that changed the world and our 25 top selling magazines, all at special prices. Visit Google Play a little later today to check them out. Twenty-five billion is more than twice the distance, in miles, that the Voyager 1 spacecraft has travelled since its launch 35 years ago. It’s the amount of time, in minutes, that have passed since some of our earliest ancestors began to set foot in Europe. And now, thanks to all of you, it’s a Google Play milestone. We look forward to the next 25 billion. Official Android Blog: Google Play hits 25 billion downloads

Rahul Always 87 Report post Posted September 27, 2012 I have a small doubt here. Even though when I go to Google Play, it shows the price as Rs. 13.35, when I initiate purchase, it indicates as $ 0.25 and am finally charged 13.93 per transaction. Can someone help me out where I can pay directly in Rupees and not be charged instead as exchange rate of dollars? I am using Google play from my laptop and NOT from my mobile. I also tried using my Indian Spice Android phone as the destination and still am being charged in dollars. Strange and not sure what I should do. Regards Rahul PS: Even though the difference here is not much, in other transactions, there would definitely be much more of a change and so interested in getting to the root (!) of the issue. And even as I paid for it, I got a call from my card company asking whether I am the one actually initiating purchases in Dollars on Google! Proactive indeed! Arun 795 Report post Posted September 27, 2012 Google Play payments (in any currency) will get converted into US$ in other countries as well. They only way you could hopefully some day pay in INR is if a mobile service provider (in India) ties up with Google for the payment (carrier billing) so that you will be billed by the mobile service provider.
