mastermunj 10 Report post Posted December 20, 2011 I have LG Passive 3D and its very good. Moreover, for a family of 4 or more, its glasses prove to be economical as it comes with 4 3D glasses and extra glass costing only 500/- per glass. Other manufacturers have Active 3D giving only 1 or 2 glasses comes with it and extra glass costs approx 2000/- to 2500/- per glass. LG may not be best, but considering all the factors and practical usage, it is good choice.

I have tried it and believe me the experience is amazing.
sliver1 102 Report post Posted December 21, 2011 Yes LG is the best. Its passive glass are really good does not need to be charged, light in weight and does not cause eye strain like those bulky active shutter glasses.
ritika_mp 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2011 I've seen the new polarised glasses for 3D TV. What is the difference between its previous version and the newer ones ?
sabeer 1 Report post Posted December 26, 2011 Polarised glasses are the modern replacement of the traditional heavy 3D glasses which were used earlier. Polarised glasses are much more lighter, and easy on the eye and make for comfortable 3D viewing experience. Also, they dont need to be recharged and are inexpensive as compared to shutter glasses. Film-type patterned retarder or FPR is the new technology for 3D TV's that support 3D TV viewing with battery free 3D glasses and also strike out chances of headaches or eyesight problems. There is a possibility that it may work, but FPR glasses only work best with FPR technology. Make sure your TV has FPR technology.
