I want to purchase a new CDMA handset to use with Reliance Network and my requirements are as follows:

  1. Unlimited Phone Book.
  2. Unlimited Dial List.
  3. Unlimited Messages.
  4. Multiple SMS sending feature.
  5. Touch screen with SWYPE feature.
  6. Document editor.
  7. Email attachment attaching feature.
  8. Latest OS version.
  9. GPS.
  10. Screen should be visible in SunLight.
  11. Good Video recorder.
  12. Call recorder.

Please do not recommend Blackberry's as I do not want to pay the extra subscription charges for their services.

You can check any android phone that fits in your budget...

Entry Level : Samsung Galaxy S - Fascinate or Epic

Mid range : HTC Evo 3d, HTC Incredible, Samsung Nexus S 4g

High End : Motorola Photon, Samsung Galaxy S2(Epic Touch)

You can get best deals on this forum itself in Buy Sell bazaar.

My choices (in order of preference) - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S2 (24-25K) - Sprint Samsung Google Nexus-S 4G (13-14K) - Sprint HTC EVO 3D (20K) - Incredible 2 GSM+CDMA (19K) - Motorola Photon GSM+CDMA (18K)

Surf through Reputed Seller Group for buyers selling these for best deal, peace of mind, MEID registered and EVDO enabled handsets. My preferred Seller is - HetalDP

My Budget is from 8k to 15 k.

Where to purchase the handsets give by Mr. Dhiraj Kaile?

I can only find one CDMA handset in Mumbai that is Samsung Galaxy POP i559!

I called HTC Customer Care but they told me that HTC does not sell CDMA handsets in India!

I called Samsung and they told only one Handset as above but they are very dumb.

:previous: You will find most answers in the FAQ topic: http://www.rimweb.in...works-in-india/

8k to 15k is too low for a business handset unless you are OK with a second hand one which you can find in the Sell forum.

Ok then what is the least price I can get a Business phone as per my need?

What business features I will not get in my budget range? As I think that the line between Ordinary Phones and Business Phones is diminishing a lot in latest phones when we go for Android 2.2 or 2.3!

Even if it is not a Business phone but if it satisfies my requirement as listed in my original post then even that will do for me!

:previous: Any Android handset will be enough but with higher end handsets you get more CPU and RAM resources so that the more resource demanding applications run smoothly. See dkaile's post for the price ranges.

No need for any other specific app. Call recorder can be done by installing a kernel with 2way call recordin. That's how it works with gsm phones. Dunno about cdma though..

Go for Nexus-S or EPIC (if you want FULL keyboard)... Both are within your budget...

Unless you must have BB features, I will say that go in for htc - say Incredible 2. Most of the features you want are in-built or available through free apps. For a smartphone there are only three real choices in the OS. BB, Apple or Android. Apple is out unless you are a Steve Joba fanatic. In Android htc Sense is the best user interface you can find.

I think no other phone will give you better sunlight readability than LG Marquee because it has a Nova screen >> http://www.phonearen...e-Review_id2848

Plus rest of all features + Reasonably Good Specs + In the range of 11-12K.

As mentioned here >> http://www.rimweb.in...post__p__252343

If your budget is more than 20 k .. go for apple iphone cdma.. Its a best CDMA with lot of apps...

If Budget less than 20K go for HTC incredible 2, It can work on GSM 3G and CDMA 3G(Evdo) .. moreover its works with SIM & UIM...No MEID registration required.. just swap sim/uim and use...
