tarun_kabra 204 Report post Posted January 5, 2012 Question is bit confusing. Which android Tablet are u talking about? Does Reliance Boardband+ (CDMA) means Reliance NetConnect Plus? There are Android Tablets with built in CDMA service, e.g. HTC Evo View.
silent_god 121 Report post Posted January 5, 2012 I m not an expert on the process, but there may be ways to do this.. 1) if tab as evdo (& it is possible to activate in India) then, directly you can use it. 2) if tab has no evdo, but bluetooth, then possibly by tethering any cdma phone with evdo capabilities (techincal experts can help you here) 3) use wifi hotspot feature in few of the cdma smart phones avialble now a days. 4) to avoid all these, contact Parin here (or maybe others), who has "htc evo view" for sell. If budget & other requirements permit option 4 is the best one

sajokj 8 Report post Posted January 6, 2012 I really love it. I can use it as a media player. Had played Full HD(1080p) 60fps video with out any lag. Both on Tablet and on my LED (connected using HDML cable). U can use external 3g Data card. ( I tried GSM) But I am not able to get Reliance netconnect+ on this. ( Now finding a way) Screen is very. responsive It have android 2.3. I had installed android 4. (ICS) and removed it as its not 100% stable. A stabel ver wil lbe out soon. 3D games are great. ITs already pre-rooted, Android MArket pre-installed. Its value for money. Screen is only 7" I would have gone for 10" (This is the only minus point)

ami1 237 Report post Posted February 20, 2012 Some of the chinese tablets do support GSM dongles but hardly any one supports CDMA dongles. 1 or 2 tablet models do mention CDMA dongles but i could never get them to run. Just check the list of dongle models they support and buy a 3G dongle. If you really want to get your current cdma dongle to run then open a terminal on the tablet (install from market) and connect dongle then type dmesg and press enter. Tell me what it says on the last 5-10 lines (about usb connect etc.)

prakashkadam 1 Report post Posted October 3, 2012 If you are bying a new android tablet then check whether it supports your particular (huawei ec 159) USB modem. Or else, flash the tablet with ROMs availble and compatible for your hardware, there are many for A10 based architecture on internet based forums for android tablets.
