rajanmehta 4,056 Report post Posted July 26, 2012 (edited) ^ ^ ^ If it's not some state secret which can't be spoken about openely, you should share the process here for the benefit of others who may face the same problem. It irks me no end to see that people come here rushing for help when they face the problem but turns shy in sharing the solution once they find one. Instead they want people to ASK! It irks me no end to see that people come here rushing for help when they face the problem but turns shy in sharing the solution once they find one. Instead they want people to ASK! Its not any secret that i will not share openly! I just did a Mail to the mts customer care WB and data customer care stating them to activate Ev-Do in my number and after 4-6 days they activated Ev-do in my number! Email address: " datasupport.wb@mtsindia.in" so after that i sent another mail regarding the same for another number but they refused to activate so you all can try your luck
alugobi 13 Report post Posted August 20, 2012 New OMH plans from MTS Note : 1X = 144 kbps and 3X = 3.1 Mbps Data Speed. Source: http://telecomtalk.info/mts-india-brings-omh-data-plans-voice-customers/98608/#more-98608
sougatadc 358 Report post Posted August 22, 2012 ^ These are Smartphone plans. The OMH connnections which have recently been robbed off the EVDO activation cannot recharge with these denominations as of now. MTS officials have apprised that they are still working on it and may come up with better over-all tariff plans for voice and data. I've converted my OMH number into smartphone one and is able to recharge the above plans (I'm using Rs. 246 plan now) but the subscribers with pulled-down 1X connectivity are still failing to recharge with these plans. sougatadc 358 Report post Posted March 5, 2013 There are a few of my friends who are using that (the 1X recharge of Rs. 90 giving 2GB data usage). They have connection both from Kolkata as well as from ROWB circles.
Ruhul Islam 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2013 why using 2gb for 90 whereas 19rs pack is providing unlimited net for 3 days in mts
sougatadc 358 Report post Posted March 6, 2013 ^ Because they don't want to belch out Rs. 190 in a month and they don't want to get an headache in the process of recharging each 4th day.2GB 1X quite sufficient for many users.
