saptaro@gmail.com 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2012 Greetings! I am planning to buy a basic active dual SIM handset. I require an Active Dual SIM phone wherein I can receive calls simultaneously on both the SIMs, but most of them are Dual SIM Dual Standby phones wherein if I am on a call on one line, the other SIM goes out of reach. My budget is minimal, I don't require any camera or music feature. Inputs on this would be highly appreciated. Thanks. :-)

saptaro@gmail.com 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2012 Genius, thank you for the response. However, Nokia 101 is a Dual SIM Dual Standby phone and not an Active Dual SIM Handset.
KanagaDeepan 1,084 Report post Posted January 14, 2012 ^^^^ Dr sir 101 is also just Dual-Standby and NOT Dual-Active one... I am sure, because I am also using one now... Afaik only Samsung is making DualActive phones (second call comes as wait or becomes missed call, if you are on first call) if we ignore chinese phones... aalok 442 Report post Posted January 14, 2012 am using Samsung SCH-W139 and am very much satisfied with the phone.. the best part is that its OMH and it gives 2 days of battery backup with heavy calling on CDMA & moderate calling on GSM, both active always.. Dushie 30 Report post Posted January 15, 2012 Would recommend to go for W259 if you can get your hands on one. Its an awesome phone and much better than 139. Bought one last year for 6K. Battery backup is really good and its great for Dual sim use with both sim active at the same time.
sougatadc 358 Report post Posted January 21, 2012 Saptarshi, I'm using Samsung W139 Duos. I think it will meet your purpose (dual active). It's quite cheap with good battery.
