st_7 138 Report post Posted February 16, 2012 (edited) Folks get ready to have tablets with Android 5 Jellybean & Windows 8 on board with dual boot option, because according digitimes(quoting taiwan suppliers) Google is in plan to release Android 5.0 JellyBean as early as in second quarter of this year, which is focused on tablet arena particularly with the offering of Dual Boot option of Windows 8 & Android on the same tablet PC. Please read the below quote from digitimes: Viewing that the adoption of Android 4.0 has fallen short of original expectations and Microsoft will launch Windows 8 in the third quarter of 2012, Google is likely to launch Android 5.0 (Jelly Bean) in the second quarter and appeal for adopting Android 5.0 and Windows 8 in the same tablet PC, according to Taiwan-based supply chain makers. Karthik R 246 Report post Posted February 16, 2012 Viewing that the adoption of Android 4.0 has fallen short of original expectations… Anyone care to explain how exactly ICS did not live up to the expectations? It is barely runs 5 % of total Android devices and already have everyone's attention. Speed of OS version roll-out and adoption is totally different matter, over which Google have minimal control and I don't see how that is going to change with Jellybeans or even Zebra Cake!
