Help: What Data Does a Master Reset Erase on HTC EVO 4G?

Hi

I have an unrooted HTC EVO 4G

the problem i m facing is that the gmail id that i used to activate the android market on d device needs to be changed..

that cannot be done widout rooting or doing a master reset.

so juz wanted to know what all data would b deleted?

contacts n settings i noe will b erased..

MY MAIN CONCERN IS IF IT WUD ALSO ALTER THE PROGAMMING ON THE PHONE(PRL OR EVDO OR MIN etc..)

u will not loose prl etc etc,

u can change the id, but ull loose any apps that u bought from the market, (i hope so, only gurus can answer this)

and add ur id to the accounts section, and delete ur old one, why do u need to reset ? , just add another account sync, and delete the old one

u can do master reset, but ull loose all apps,contacts etc etc , if u want to do a back up on ur pc (only contacts and call register,msgs) use myphone explorer, for apps, appsbackup&restore from market

You can use myrootbackup from market for free its a superb app.. u can backup n restore as it stores all data online or on ur sd card!

u can backup/restore everything individually i.e.contacts/sms/apps.. or everything.
