How many of you have tried it already??? Now we can even sms our contacts in gmail through Chat.

Only few above mentioned networks supported as of now.

But its still a start none the less. You get max credit by default of 50 sms and once exhausted it will recover in 24 hrs automatically.

Also for every sms reply that you recieve you get 5 sms credit back.

Be careful in replying to such SMS messages if you receive one..

Because each message is costing Rs 1 to the person who is replying.

This one and way2sms seem helpful only on blackout days. Otherwise the SMS tariffs are so low that I'd hardly use these cumbersome processes.

soon these companies also come up with blackout days.

this is useful while in roaming, bcoz most operator still cost Rs3.45/sms in roaming

Cumbersome is hardly the word I d use. The sheer ease and comfort of ur pc or laptop when you busy working is unbeatable. Specially when you have all ur contacts in google now as most of us are android users. You dont have to pick ur mobile to sms anything important you want to msg.

But may be those who are in field more and less infront of their machines then of course sms through mobile is first choice. Still sending through gtalk being free adds to the charm.
