Puneet 0 Report post Posted March 16, 2005 Reliance is not selling Blank sets of Nokia but sets which are Reliance Ready - which means the ESN of these handsets is registered with Reliance. When you use a HCC or a GSK a MIN is alloted to the mobile and is associated with the ESN. When you dial *228 after setting MIN to 0s, the lady recognizes your ESN and says it has already been programmed, and when you set the ESN to 0s the Reliance servers obviously fail to recognize your set and do not activate it. In simple words its not that easy to erase everything from handset and re-activate it.
