It suddenly went dead while charging. after changing to a new battery it now tries to boot up but after the droid eye animation it says power off and shuts down. edit:- now after trying for some time through boot time reset/wipe cache the boot logo also doesn't show. please help...i have already spent 16 k + 6k for battery on this :-( thanks Register yr handset on Moto's website and contact them. If yr handset is less than a year old you can get a replacement. I got replacement for my Photon and that too a Brand New one. Also, if it is less than a year old they dont ask for any proof of ownership Replacement would be a problem as the phone is already been opened for replacing battery warranty will void if there is any left. You will have Voice and Data for GSM and Only Voice for your CDMA.You just need to get your GSM or CDMA Sim cut to the Micro SIM size and start using it directly.No Magic or no Hard work required. nitink 279 Report post Posted March 23, 2013 (edited) on stock JB now , few cosmetic changes , interface is smoother and much more polished. camera app now starts a lot faster, gallery is also updated, new dailler is ok but i miss the bluetooth option while the call was on , but yes phone has becomefaster i was apprehensive since the last ICS update made my phone stock but this time , everything was intact, i only lost my number setting. also root got restored with voodoo OTA, so all ended well. nitink 279 Report post Posted July 5, 2013 (edited) i did a factory reset 3 times, reinstalled all drivers in my pc 10 times , tried to change the usb port @ gafar but nothing worked. even lost root in the process. i thought it was hardware failure and was about to purchase S3 from parin but then i tried something different. i booted my cell in safe mode (keep pressing the power off for a few seconds ) and then connected my handset to my pc, it connected and usb popup showed in the cell. i changed the mode to MTP and could access my expandable storage.still mass storage option was giving issues. so now i knew the issue was some app/driver which had screwed the connection. i removed all apps and started afresh. did a factory reset and did not install any app from titanium backup or gmail backup etc. installed only those which i wanted from market and genuinely needed ones from TB. I have a licensed uniblue .driver scanner from freegiveawayoftheday and updated all my drivers to be on a safer side. and now the phone connects via MTP as well as mass storage!! rotting JB was as easy as a cake again. in short saved 18k (mint s3 cost), deduct 1100 for the new battery i purchased for my backup phone moto XT800. in short a win win for me. I love the build quality of motorola, battery still lasts full one day with heavy usage and never faced any issues till this one but now which is solved. sibisibi17 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2013 my phone - motorola droid razr maxx ( XT 912 ) verizon connection - Reliance CDMA ( postpaid ) Sim type - OMH sim Os - JB 4.1.2 problem - in this phone i can use any GSM and CDMA sim card in the same port with GSM sim i am able to use VOICE CALLING, SMS , DATA with CDMA OMH sim i am able to use VOICE and SMS only i am having a postpaid plan , unlimited DATA available everymonth , but no use i have checked my sim with another USB MODEM , data working very well , that means in my sim DATA activated and available, some problems in my phone , but i dont think its a problem.. some verizon settings inside , i think i need to re-write reliance settings in my phone .. NOTE : i have DFS tool , CDMA workshop , QPST i have tryed some tricks... but nothing have worked .. i hope here experts can help me , this problem not only for me.. all the xt912 users having this problems, so please give us a solution to activate data in our handset ... Buddy Motorola XT912 supports voice and SMS on Reliance CDMA , it has no data support as of now through its CDMA SIM. Your meid is printed at the back of phone, if not then remove SIM card from phone and check in about menu.Also your imei first 14digits are meid. For nv mode you need to have Verizon SIM inside the phone, then need to put your phone in evdo / cdma mode. To check whether your meid is registered or not do these following things:- 1. Note down your meid as hitesh told u. 2.
