dkaile 1,051 Report post Posted March 20, 2012 I have used both Belkin and Netgear. Belkin has poorer coverage compared to the Netgear base model.
MGR 18 Report post Posted March 20, 2012 If u hav budget go for Asus RT-N13U B1. I am using it from past 6-8 Months. Its excellent router. http://in.asus.com/Networks/Wireless_Routers/RTN13U_B1/
csmart 472 Report post Posted March 20, 2012 I've used DLink and LinkSys and both are good. Never used belkin or netgear. also your area is also large so better check specs and choose router that can cover larger area or you buy one that has facility to change antenna. I am also in process of buying new ADSL2 with wifi router. nothing shortlisted though.

raghav.cn 8 Report post Posted November 8, 2012 (edited) Hello I took Reliance Broadband connection after disconnecting my present BSNL Broadband , As my UTStarcom W3002G4 doesnt work with Reliance Broadband. I am in look out for wireless router and made some lists below List 1 Tp Link TL-WR740N (approx Rs 850 after discount) or Belkin N 150 basic router(approx Rs 1200 ) List 2 Tp Link TL -WR841N(approx Rs 1400) or Belkin N300 Surf Router(approx Rs 1650 ) I need only 1 router but confused to choose between 150Mbps or 300Mbps so i made 2 lists. As i browsed i came to know that List 2 routers provide more coverage . Thank you Raghav Edited November 8, 2012 by raghav.cn
Arun 795 Report post Posted November 8, 2012 The coverage range won't make much difference. The difference is in the speed which will impact you only if you are looking for internal file transfer (between your PCs), not for internet usage as connection speeds are usually below 4 mbps. rajanmehta 4,056 Report post Posted November 8, 2012 (edited) Between the two TP Link shortlisted, TL-WR740N has 5dbi single antenna whereas TL-WR841N has 5dbi X Dual Antenna. So coverage range theoretically should be higher for TL-WR841N. Secondly it will be better for HD Streaming etc being fully N300 compliant 2T2R MIMO. It's worth spending Rs 550 more and go for TL-WR841N. Edited November 8, 2012 by rajanmehta

caringlover 32 Report post Posted November 8, 2012 I believe in today's time going for new router should also check for USB dongle support as well. Does any of the above discussed has USB dongle support....
